Zoë has nurtured a love of the living world from childhood, when she kept a ‘nature diary’ recording her encounters with other life forms and loved to introduce others to the things she found, into a deep appreciation as an adult of the way that connection with the living world supports us. Zoe is a published writer and singer-songwriter and member of the Performing Rights Society, a certified teacher of Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi, and currently works with clients using a combination of mindfulness meditation, Tai Chi Qigong and injury rehabilitation therapy, at Helix House Natural Health Centre in Oxford, one-to-one in nature or indoors, and in community classes and workshops.

Zoe studied bushcraft with UK organisations Native Awareness School of Primitive and Earth Living Skills, Pathfinder UK, and Woodlore. She has run workshops for children and families at various settings including Plan-It Earth Education for Sustainability Project in Cornwall, Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust, and in Oxfordshire for the Earth Trust, Hill End Outdoor Centre, and Barracks Lane Community Garden.

Zoe worked as a researcher and editor for the author and holder of Earth-based wisdom teachings Chris Lüttichau of Northern Drum Shamanic Centre, for his books ’Animal Spirit Guides’ (2013) and ‘Calling Us Home’ (2017). Through working closely with Chris, the perspective of shamanism has become an important part of her life. Zoe has worked with the Feminine Leadership Coach Joey Walters and continues to be part of the circle of women she helped to gather Oxford in 2017 to explore Joey’s teachings.

In 2022-23 Zoe and her pack-mule Falco walked from Oxford to Scotland and back again, on their ‘Walk for Earth’, visiting schools and raising awareness and just under £7k in fundraising for the environmental charitable foundation Stop Ecocide International.
