Thalia Wallis is a therapeutically trained facilitator with over 16 years’ experience in intervention design and direct delivery of group work and 1:1 support for young people who have experienced trauma and marginalisation. More recently this has been within the education system for young people at risk of exclusion. She is also enthusiastic about training professionals in trauma-informed systems and cultures, and supporting schools in understanding and managing behaviour in a holistic, restorative and child-centred way. She has done two years training in Transactional Analysis Organisation Field looking at coaching systems and groups to support her work with professionals. She has co-authored two books on consent – a graphic novel for young people, and a resource book for the adults who care for and educate them. She has recently become more passionate about ways to take learning outside of the classroom and into nature. She is doing her Forest School training and aims to create a variety of groups in Oxfordshire aimed at emotional regulation and relational connection in the wild.
