The Nature Effect is a catalyst for personal, professional and community transformation. We offer continuing professional
development and coaching to people and organisations in education and social change. We also offer retreats, weekend
workshops and on-going groups for people wanting to learn, grow, flourish, reflect and reconnect. We collaborate with
communities, schools and various peer groups.
Our ‘golden thread’ is explicit inspiration from the natural world – through nature metaphor, embodied
learning, time spent in the wilds, use of natural materials and creation of outdoor spaces and events.
We have a rich pool of associates skilled in these areas of work who are always cooking up new ideas, and we like to connect
them with like-minded colleagues, practical resources and methodological tools for effective working. We welcome contact
from potential new associates. We are largely based in Oxford City but our Associates work nationally and internationally.

Dragonfly Co-operative is a group of women who make upcycled, recycled and other handmade jewellery. Family Nature Clubs - Next event May 26th
May 26th - Ucycled City - making cardboard city and making paper July 21st - Denmaking and Waterplay September 15th - Balancing Act - stone balancing, mobiles and much more.... October 20th - Stick Day - dozens of things you can do and make with a simple pile of sticks November 3rd - Pumpkins, Lanterns and Bonfires and storytelling ....the Barracks Lane annual bonfire event December 8th - Greenery - Decorations for Christmas and other wintertime festivals January 13th and February 13th : more details to come All our Family Nature clubs except September 15th take place at Barracks Lane Community Garden from 12.00 - 4.00pm. The Bonfire Night event on November 3rd also has an early evening fire with stortelling and family refreshments. The Setpember event will take place at Hill End as part of Oxfordshire Play Association Play Day events
